We run many different types of events throughout the year…
but you can find out about our regular events below:

We meet Thursday nights at 6:30 PM in the Uí Chadhain Theatre in the Arts Block. Don’t know how to get to Ui Chadhain? Here’s a quick video guide!

This is our main meeting in which we learn from God’s word (the Bible) and how it relates to our lives. We also sing songs of worship, and finish the evening with refreshments afterwards. Our weekly meeting is aimed to equip and encourage students; rooting them in the Gospel with a passion to share it! Note: during Michaelmas Term (Sept-Dec) we’ll meet on Thursdays, but during Hilary Term (Jan-Apr) we’ll meet on Mondays.

We are students from different churches and denominations, united around the same gospel.

At CU, we aim to be a community of people who continually grow in our love for God and love for others. One way in which we do this is by having small groups.

Small Groups are groups of people within the Christian Union who meet once a week (in Room 36, House 6) for an hour or so and study a Bible passage together. They are a great way of getting to know people better within the society and also to grow deeper in your faith in a relaxed and open setting.

All are welcome to attend and they are held at various times throughout the week so there is bound to be one to fit your timetable! See below for the timetable for this term…

Each Friday from 12 – 2 pm you can head on over to our society room (Room 36, House 6) if you need a microwave, pals and a comfy sunken sofa to eat your lunch on! Here you can also browse our newly sorted shelves and borrow a book.

Once a month, we’ll be running Food for Thought’ in the Atrium, a short lunchtime talk covering some of life’s big questions with free lunch!!!

We love Prayer and believe it’s the backbone to our mission. We usually have one prayer meeting each week. We meet in Room 6.36 (our society room in House Six, Front Square) at 8 am on Tuesdays to pray for each other, our college, country and world.
